The successful Icon board range represents the ultimate in early-planing freeride performance. For 2007 the designs have been fine-tuned with the addition of a new tail cut-out that extends their range dramatically in the top end by decreasing wetted surface area. Optimized for flat water conditions, these boards plane early, are easy to handle, and offer excellent stability with big sails.

Naish Icon 145 - Windsurfing Magazine (US)
"What makes this Naish stand out is that its overall width is relatively narrow compared to other jumbos, yet it carries the most width through the tail. This makes it a must ride....Great jiber, great in chop and good up and downwind...Liked the smooth consistent power band and had a lot of ability to floor it. It also has the most Formula like jibe characteristics. Great board for anyone that wants to drive around the smallest board possible and has the ability to stick the jibe into a checkmark....Had the feel of the Formula board I always race. Road flat to the water and excellent upwind/downwind pointing and it planed really early. You had to turn jibes slightly wider than I liked. Overall, it's an exceptional board....Of the jumbo fleet, this one was my favorite. It had great planing power and, unlike some others, didn't feel overly big underfoot, and the ride didn't lull me sleep once on a plane. It was exciting, direct and rewarded rider participation. It also offered pointing performance of wide boards, without requiring a seat harness and Formula techniques. For expert free-riders looking for a high-strung light-air board that keeps the experience of sailing fun."
