2008 Starboard Stand Up 11'2'' - The Ultimate Blend.
The 2008 Starboard 11'2" x 30" stand up paddle board is super responsive and handles greater speed, larger waves and allows tighter turns. Oriented towards a classic longboarding style, the 11'2" is designed with agility in mind.
As with all the Starboard stand up boards in this range, the nose concave of the 11'2" provides lift which aides in catching waves, and makes it easier for you to move up front and get your toes on the nose. The single concave feeds into a double concave through the middle, and then moves into a vee through the tail. This shape delivers the ultimate combination of lift, drive and release, tailored to suit the various positions of your feet on the board.
The wide nose and 30" width of the Starboard 11'2" provides great stability, yet the narrow, thin tail keeps it loose, especially in the thruster setup. The thruster fins also help increase directional stability while paddling.
