Save yourself a nose job - should be mandatory in Cape Hatteras.

Works best with 2 bolt bases, but be aware you can't move your mast track all the way forward - that's OK, it shouldn't be all the way forward anyway!

Your board's warranty does not cover nose damage due to mast & boom hits!

As seen in this picture, The Deviator will save your nose again & again. Simple but effective. Almost every rental fleet and Vacation destination around the world utilizes The Deviator is covered by U.S. Patent No. 5,628,266 with international patents pending.

Had your nose broken lately? There is only one product out there that can offer you some relief. The Deviator. This device only weighs 6 ounces and stops the mast or boom from hitting the nose area of your board during a high speed slam or catapult. The Deviator sits just in front of and under your mast base, moving in conjunction with the base in the mast track. The base of the Deviator will take the place of your current skid plate if you use one. It's been fully tested in big chop from Maui to Aruba with very good results. Going into its sixth year now, it is being used by beginners, intermediates and even expert (with fragile boards) sailors with great success.

WARNING: The Deviator may not save your nose in EVERY crash. But it will save it 99% of the time. So, if it saves your nose once it's well worth the investment. We are now recommending that 2 bolt rubber Uni bases be used to spread the tremendous forces involved in hard crashes and high winds. The 2 bolt Deviator will help if you are getting slammed alot or have a board of questionable strength.
Rental locations count on the Deviator to protect their investment. We now have three years worth of data from rental fleets, that the 2 bolt base has virtually eliminated the few mast track damages that were happening in the everyday slamming these rental boards take. For ost everyone else, the standard single bolt is fine. A rubber Uni joint is recommentded though.
Now, almost every rental fleet and vacation destination spot in the world utilizes the Deviator!

"When is comes to getting slammed, it's not a matter of if, It's a matter of when."
