It's significance is equateable to the transmission in a car or the gears on a bicycle. Quite simply, multiple power settings broaden the use and range of the sail.

Everything you need to adapt a new Chinook Carbon Boom into a low friction, 8 to 1, on-the-fly outhaul system. Includes 2 cleats, modified double sail pulley, 11/64" pre-stretched line (1-12', 2-5'), 2-Ronstan pulley blocks, and 2 T-handles. Compatible with modern race booms. Designed for booms with 3 integrated pulleys.
