Techno 293 One Design : The One Design funboard benchmark
Having already been a best-selling leisure board, the Techno 293 has found a second life after the Federation Francaise de Voile selected it as the board to replace the discontinued Aloha as the One Design board for junior riders up to 17 years old. A selection further ratified at international level by the ISAF in November 2004.
What helped it beat off its rivals in 2004 was its general performance and easy control. With close to 3 metres length but moderate width it was able to out-perform the extra-wide boards. That makes the Techno 293 One Design the perfect solution to the wide range of conditions riders encounter in competition, from 5 to 30 knots. Competitions aside, the Techno 293 is ideal for learning and leisure funboarding, enabling clubs to reduce their overheads and equipment levels by having just one board model. With high quality fittings it really is a reliable, high performance board, comfortable in all water conditions.
